What is the advantage of ceramic anilox roller?

Written By: Eric

Ceramic rollers are also called metering rollers, ink rollers, ink guide rollers, and anilox rollers. In the past, most printing equipment factories used more metal anilox rollers. The printing quality of chrome-plated rollers is average, the ink is uneven, and the service life is short.

The ceramic roller is surface treated by supersonic spraying on the surface of the metal roller on the base roller surface of the metal roller and sprayed with a layer of ceramic powder (chromium trioxide) to improve the durability of the metal roller and the printing accuracy. It enables better control of ink volume during printing, more uniform printing ink, and improves the quality of printed products;

Diameter range: 50-500mm
Maximum width: 5000mm, belt shaft 5000mm
Engraving angle: any angle
Mesh shape: hexagonal, oblique, serpentine, quadrangular, channel-shaped, etc.
The main material is seamless steel pipe or special aluminum alloy substrate, all imported powder.
Wear resistance: the thickness of the coating is greater than 0.25mm, the porosity reaches 1.5%, the hardness is greater than 1300HV, and the printing durability can reach more than 5 million meters. According to the customer’s actual user feedback, the highest printing volume has reached more than 60 million meters.
Corrosion resistance: The super-strong nickel-chromium alloy base layer and plasma spraying ceramic layer technology are used, and the corrosion resistance is more than 300% higher than that of ordinary chrome-plated rollers.
Uniform printing: direct engraving with fiber laser, a small difference in full-page dots, good printing uniformity, and color difference within 1.
Precise workmanship: the ink amount error is less than 5%.
Wide range of network cables: British 50-1500 lines (metric 20-500 lines) can be processed.
