How to solve the cardboard-ruffled edge phenomenon?

Written By: Eric

The weather is getting colder and colder, the real sense of winter has come, this period of cardboard because of the temperature difference between the paper and the outside environment, cardboard is prone to the phenomenon of ruffled edge (paper edge wavy).
So what is the ruffle phenomenon? How did it form? In this episode, the needle will do some analysis of the phenomenon that produces flounces:
First, what is the ruffle edge phenomenon?
Pictured: The paper has a ruffled edge, which looks like a ruffle shape.

Two, the factors that produce the ruffling phenomenon and the solution:
1, single tile machine overpass accumulation of paper too much or slow:
When the overpass of single tile machine has too much paper or is slow, the retention time of the corrugated paper on the overpass will become longer. At this time, the low temperature outside will absorb the temperature and moisture of the corrugated paper, resulting in insufficient moisture of the corrugated paper (too dry). When the cardboard is formed, the inner paper will deform due to insufficient moisture, resulting in the flanged phenomenon of the cardboard. This is the main cause of flanging in paper.
Improvement measures:
A. The paper volume of the overpass is controlled within A reasonable range to reduce the retention time on the overpass. The synchronous speed mode is recommended.
B. Reduce the hot cylinder envelope Angle of the inner paper and maintain the normal moisture content of the inner paper.
C. Improve the speed
2. The temperature of the face paper is too high:
This situation generally occurs in improper operation adjustment, excessive heating of the face paper, usually the preheating cylinder envelope Angle is too large or the hot plate temperature is too high.
Improvement measures:
A. Adjust and reduce the wrapping Angle of the baking paper dryer.
B. Adjust and reduce the temperature of the hot plate
C. Improve the speed
3, the steam pressure is too high:
The level of steam pressure is directly proportional to the temperature, the temperature is too high will cause the cardboard moisture reduction, forming a lotus leaf phenomenon.
Improvement measures:
A. Adjust and reduce steam pressure properly in winter.
B. At the same time, switch the winter glue formula to fit the steam pressure
The problem of flinging is that temperature and water control are directly related, and the problem of temperature and water control must be solved to avoid problems.
